Touchscreen ultrabook – prototype the future

Touchscreen-enabled Ultrabook will come with Windows 8 and Intel’s third gen Ivy Bridge processor. And it’s an absolute delight to use. Intended to show how OEMs can enhance their ultrabooks with touch, this machine is running Windows 7 and doing a splendid job of navigating through the Zinio digital magazine app. The experience of using it is identical to what you’ll already be used to with your smartphone or tablet — it’s just that capacitive screens have up until now tended to be limited to form factors of 10 inches and below. Intel Ivy Bridge Ultrabook will sport a 13.3-inch 1600 x 900-pixel LCD capacitive touchscreen with better responsiveness. Under the cover, the Intel touchscreen Ultrabook will mount a stunning 1.5GHz Ivy Bridge processor. The prototype model contains a couple of USB 3.0 ports, SD card, SIM and HDMI ports. T his lightweight Intel notebook can simply replace both your tablet and laptop offering a new touchscreen experience.
